Make sure your Bonfire Night goes off with a bang as you join the crowds at the Food Museum for our popular annual Bonfire Night Celebrations on Saturday 7 November in Stowmarket, Suffolk. Rated one of the top Bonfire Night events in the UK by Time Out!

Enjoy spectacular fireworks and a traditional roaring bonfire, as well as fairground amusements, food trucks and steam engine. It’s an ideal evening of traditional family fun set within the stunning grounds of the museum.

We’ll have an even larger variety of food stalls on offer with 10+ brilliant local vendors

Times

Gates open at 5.30pm, the bonfire is lit at 7pm and the fireworks go off at 7.30pm. The food trucks, snack bar and fairground will be open for the duration of the event.

Parking

Please find below a list of car parks in Stowmarket to assist with attendance.

Unfortunately due to site layout and capacity, there is no disabled parking available in the museum’s grounds for the event. We recommend that blue badge holders aim to get to the site slightly earlier and park in the disabled bays in the Meadow Centre/ASDA carpark.

All car parks should be free from 6pm.
