It’s back by popular demand: the Storyteller’s Supper – and this time it’s going Greek.
Food for the ears! Get salivating for a mouthful of stories all washed down with a delicious home-cooked three-course meal at the Food Museum Stowmarket, on 30 May.
This extra special event is in conjunction between the Food Museum and the three-day East Anglian Storytelling Festival. We welcome guests to join master storyteller Daniel Morden as he welcomes you to a banquet fit for the gods! Enjoy dark and strange stories from Greek myths and legends, all accompanied by a delicious three course meal that will transport you to warmer climes.
This is a rare chance to experience this wonderful storyteller and enjoy a wonderful intimate night out at our Feast café.
About Daniel Morden
Since 1989 Daniel Morden has travelled the world, telling traditional tales. His repertoire ranges from profound Greek myths to magical fairy tales, thrilling adventures to absurd nonsense. He has performed at the National Theatre, Sydney Writers Festival, The National Storytelling Festival of America, The Getty Centre, many theatres, arts centers, festivals, churches and thousands of schools. Since 2006 he has toured with the story/music ensemble THE DEVIL’S VIOLIN, creating unforgettable performances in a huge range of venues across the UK. In 2017 he was awarded the Hay Festival Medal for his services to storytelling. He has written several award-winning anthologies of traditional stories, including DARK TALES FROM THE WOODS.

Tickets
£40.00 per person – including a special three course themed meal and glass of wine, storytelling performances, tea and coffee, and post-event entry to the Storytelling Festival.
A bar will be available also for the purchase of extra drinks.
Adult size menu only available for this event – children welcome with purchase of a standard ticket.
Seating arranged on entry, on some occasions you might share a table.
