Halloween Storytelling and Feast

31 Oct 2024
19:30 - 22:00
£18-20

Celebrate Halloween with spooky stories and delicious local food at the Food Museum, Stowmarket!

This Halloween, join us at Feast Cafe in the Food Museum’s atmospheric grounds for a chilling evening of terrifying tales, performed by renowned East Anglian storyteller Roisin Murray, along with true tales of local witch trials by local historian Darren Dordoy.

You’ll also get to enjoy a delicious feast of autumnal foods, using produce sourced from the Food Museum site and local producers, including sourdough bread made using flour milled on site and baked in our wood-fired oven.

Roisin Murray has been telling stories for over 20 years in diverse places – from the East Midlands to the Middle East. Having spent many years living and working all around the UK, she is now based in Norfolk from where she tells both traditional and self-authored tales. She frequently performs at the East Anglian Storytelling Festival.
