Apple Pressing Sessions

Saturday 26 October–Sunday 3 November, 10.30 – 12.30 & 13.30 – 15.30

Make your own juice from locally grown apples using our hand-cranked press!

Twice a day in the farm barn, roll up your sleeves and help chop, mash and press locally-grown apples. Learn about the different varieties of apples and take home a bottle of fresh, tasty juice!

During this fun, interactive workshop suitable for ages ages 5+, you’ll be guided through the process of cleaning, crushing, pressing, bottling, pasteurising and labelling.

If you have apples in your garden, feel free to bring these along and we can press them during the workshop. We recommend you bring at least a couple of buckets full, but we will have apples you can add if required. Instead of your complimentary bottles of juice, we will offer you the equivalent empty bottles to fill with your own juice and can offer more at £1 a bottle (bottles charged on the day).

Booking essential

Prices (including a bottle of juice and museum admission)

£20 adult (£5 members), £18 concession (£5 members), £15 child (£5 members)

£60 for a family ticket of 2 adults and up to three children (£15 members), includes 3 bottles of juice.

£40 for a family ticket of 1 adult and up to three children (£10 members), includes 2 bottles of juice.

Suitable for ages 5+. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
