About this objectThe measure has a circular base of wood in one piece with another piece of wood curled round it. The two ends of the curled piece are joined by an overlap and the piece is itself attached to the base by small nails. Above the inscription is part of what appears to have been the outline of a crown. The wood id oatmeal in colour and the nails black.
