About this objectA green and black "Bentall" WPB power operated machine, with a long barrel and rotating twisted bars. Has a grater disc root cleaner and cutter.

Root crops were shovelled into the long barrell, to be cleared by twisted bars. Dirt and stones fell through gaps between bars. Cleaned roots were cut up by the grater disc.
