This was used by the donor's late father, at willow farm in the mid 20th century .The outer cardboard box has a manufacturers label on the lid (Ketchum Manufacturing Company ,Tadworth ,Surrey ) Inside is a cardboard container with pliers ,illustrated with instructions for use (Place tag in pliers as shewn in illustration manipulate pliers with a quick closure squeeze without any pull away towards operators body until tag is clinghed) The same instructions appear on box containing the tags together with IMPORTANT- when fixing tags to young stock, room must be allowed for growth of ear .Each tag is stamped on one side with number(numbers start 33:51 through 74 missing ;finish at 100) on other side SK 230
