About this objectThis harness rack is made of iron and used to hold horse collars and harness. Taken from Messrs Quinton's former stable block at Station Yard, Needham Market, at the time of it's conversion in June 1974. According to the letter from the donor, dated 28/06/1974, the rack was fitted at the time the building was erected. The irons passed through 3" x 5" timbers which formed part of the brick wall.
