This is part of a collection of negatives which are made of glass and show implements manufactured by Ransome, Sims and Jefferies, Ipswich. The details of the negatives are taken from Ransome, Sims and Jefferies 'Register of Photographs' Vols.1, 2 and 3.
The negatives were sold by Ransomes (c.1968) for use as panes of glass in a greenhouse. It is likely that others were sold at the same time for the same purpose.
