About this objectThis hoe has one wheel, 2 handles and 6 blades. The hoe is cream coloured, but blue paint can be seen underneath. The blades and wheel are black. This was used and bought at a sale at an Essex barn.
It would have been pulled by a horse to 'tear out and expose the roots of weeds'. Refer to 'Discovering Horse-drawn Farm Machinery p. 23'.
