About this objectThis is part of a knapsack sprayer with a handle and straps for fitting on the sprayer's back. It is made up of a tank, lid, hose, stopper and this vent. The sprayer is missing its lance. Refer to 1984-14.2a-e for all associated parts. It was used at the By Pass Nurseries, Bramford, Ipswich Suffolk, between 1954 and 1984. It was used to spray fungisides and pesticides.
