About this objectThis is lace wound round a piece of cardboard. This is part of the collection of clothes belonging to Misses D. and M. Burling, of Swaffham Bulbeck, Cambridgeshire, who were aunts of the donor, Mrs Chapman. The clothes were by the Hancock family at The Laurels Swaffham Bulbeck in 1850/ 1900, who were members of a farming family. This is one of five pieces of a baby's nightgown.
