About this objectThis is part of the collection of clothes belonging to the aunts of the donor. This is one of six dresses, suitable for a 3/4 year old child, and all are of a similar design, with drawstring neckline, full skirt, and back opening tied with tapes and fastened with hooks and hand-sewn eyes. All the dresses are completely hand sewn. This example is striped mauve on white, with puff sleeves and a pleat above the hem. A newspaper pattern for the sleeve is attached.
