About this objectThis is part of the collection of clothes belonging to Misses D. and M. Burling, of Swaffham Bulbeck, Cambridgeshire, who were aunts of the donor, Mrs Chapman. The clothes were by the Hancock family at The Laurels Swaffham Bulbeck in 1850/ 1900, who were members of a farming family. This is an odd glove of white cotton, for a small narrow hand. It has two mother of pearl buttons to fasten at the wrist.
