About this objectOne of a pair of matching gloves.This is part of the collection of clothes belonging to Misses D. and M. Burling, of Swaffham Bulbeck, Cambridgeshire, who were aunts of the donor, Mrs Chapman. The clothes were worn by the Hancock family at The Laurels Swaffham Bulbeck in 1850/ 1900, who were members of a farming family. These are white cotton.This pair are for a small hand. They have an arrow design on the back, and are fastened by two stamped poppers on each wrist.
