About this objectOne of a matching pair of gloves.This is part of the collection of clothes belonging to Misses D. and M. Burling, of Swaffham Bulbeck, Cambridgeshire, who were aunts of the donor, Mrs Chapman. The clothes were worn by the Hancock family at The Laurels Swaffham Bulbeck in 1850/ 1900, who were members of a farming family. This is a pair of lady's black cotton gloves, for a medium sized hand and has two stamped popper fasteners on each cuff.
Inscription and MarksThe poppers have a design on it and the words 'PERRIN'S GLOVE'.
