About this objectA blouse, blue with a brown, narrow stripe. The body is gathered onto a shoulder yoke, and the blouse has long sleeves, with two button fastenings on each cuff. It is pleated down the back and is secured by four hooks and eyes on the front opening, with three large cut buttons, purely for decoration.
This is part of the collection of clothes belonging to Misses D. and M. Burling, of Cambridgeshire, who were aunts of the donor. The clothes were by the Hancock family in 1850/ 1900, who were members of a farming family.
