About this objectThis is one of two roughly made nosebags, made from thickly woven hessian and sacking, sewn together by machine. The halters are attached to either side and are made of leather. It is marked on either side with the initials 'T.N.' (faded red), possibly the initials of the farmer or owner. On 26/02/1990 this item was sent on loan to the Lavenham Museum for five years.
