About this objectOne of two gin traps used for small wild animals, particularly rats. These are of the same design but one is smaller than the other. They were used for farmyard pests by a Mr. Williams. One is believed to have been made by Williams & Sons of Colchester.
This example is the larger trap and is without a chain and pin.
