About this objectThe clamp measures 23cms. long, from the jaw to the handle end. The horizontal jaw is 7cms. long and the span of the handles, when opened to their full extent is 13cms. The handles are bow shaped and there is a tightening screw 13.5cms. from the end of them. There is a trellis pattern running 11cms. up from the end of each handle. The jaws of the clamp are rounded, 1.5cms. in diameter when closed, and have an inner bevelled edge. The donor, Mr Cabban, is a retired vet and used the instrument in his practice.
