About this objectUsed by the donor up to the mid 1960's, in the Ipswich district.
This is the white cardboard box which contained 100 tags and a pair of metal pliers.
The tags were used to show that pigs were vaccinated for swine fever under the Crystal Violet scheme (crystal Violet being the name of the vaccine).
The donor was in practice with her husband at 139 London Road since 1947 , sold the practice in 1977. Practice name Phillips & Osborn
