About this objectThe poster is made of varnished card and is framed. This was bought at the closing down sale of James Smyth & Son of Peasenhall, manufactures of seed drills, in 1977. In order to get farmers to use their seed drill, they sent out representatives to do contract drilling. It proved a good way to increase their sales.
