About this objectFleeter with enclosed oval handle.
The whole milk, still warm, was poured into a galvanised bath, and rennet was added. After about an hour the milk was sufficiently set to be scooped out with the fleeter into a sieve lined with muslin.
Used by the donor and donor's mother at Weybread in the 1920's. The donor also made cheese occasionally after she married in 1940.
