About this objectThe cloth was used to line a sieve standing in a pan. After the whole milk has been renneted it was ready to be scooped out into the sieve , to drain before being transferred into cheese vats.
Used by the donor's mother and the donor at their home in Weybread in the 1920's and then by the donor at Fressingfield after her marriage in 1940.
