About this objectIt has been adapted from a corn measure. There are holes drilled in the sides and base for the drainage of the whey. The lid is made from an old fruit can.
Used by the donor's grandmother, Mrs. Ellen Emily Munnings (mother of Alfred Munnings), at Mendham. Also used by the donor's mother, Mrs. Mary Munnings, at Weybread, and occasionally used by the donor at Fressingfield after her marriage in 1940 .
