About this objectUsed by the donor, born in 1903, at Little Wenham Grange, nr. Ipswich, which comprised of 320 acres, mixed farming and using 6 pairs of horses. The donor's father tenanted Little Wenham Grange and the donor learnt to plough in the labour shortage during the war. He stayed in farming (but moved to St. Albans, Herts) until 1928, then he went into motor engineering. The use of this spanner is uncertain. It has an open end at each end.
