About this objectIt is of silk with a linen lining on the shoulders, a draw tape at the waist and a large single mother-of-pearl button. it is striped aubergine and turquoise on a cream background. The cuffs are doubled, with holes for cuff links. There is a label,'14 ', inside the collar and a paper label still attached to the hem, but the garment has been worn.
These items relate to a collection inherited by the donor from her grandfather’s family, who farmed in Old Buckenham, Walsham le Willows and Hepworth and bred horses and Red Poll cattle.
