About this objectThis was used for controlling a horse, it's local name is 'twitch'. Not of the normal type. This consists of 2 turned sticks, each 36cms. long, with a universal joint at one end and a leather strap attached to the lower end of one of the sticks. Stamped on the strap is: "RUTTER'S HORSE TWITCH." It was found in Claydon Smithy.
