Donor’s grandfather farmed at Willow Farm, Allwood Green and great uncle farmed at Chestnuts Farm, Allwood Green. Until 1948 they worked both farms, each at that time c. 100 acres, mixed (pigs and bullocks as well as corn and beet), as partners. The stencil could be used for stamping sacks of grain from either farm.
