About this objectThis is a lapel badge of the National Agricultural Labourers and Rural Worker's Union, bearing the name of the union round an enamelled representation of a horse plough. This union was particularly strong in the Eastern Counties, but the badge was obtained by the donor from a union member in Kent (where the donor's last post was). It belonged to the member's grandfather, who was in the West Malling (Kent) branch when it was founded.
