Name/TitleHub cap
About this objectThe cap bears the name of The Eagle Engineering Company Warwick. This was fitted to the wheel of a brewer's dray, of "Nicholl & Co Colchester Brewery"; the dray was later purchased by the donor's father, Mr. G. B. Blaker, fitted with ladders and used as a farm wagon for carting the corn. This was a common thing on the local farms. The dray itself fell into disuse and was burned c. 1958.
