About this objectStack sampler with a case. The hay tester has a flattened point with a notch to catch the hay. It unscrews into three sections which fit into the leather case. There are two spanners for securing at the joints, and a 5/16 gauge. It's use was to enable a sample to be taken from the centre of the stack to ensure uniform quality. It was used by the donor until quite recently.
