About this objectMade of iron. According to the donor, this bit was used for horse-breaking by his father, Mr. G.B. Blaker, at his farm. The mouthpiece has a fixed pendant section and the sidepieces pivot on the mouthpiece, which is ridged on one side. The side pieces are circular in shape with seven oblong indentations.
