About this objectThis was used by the donor's father until 1945. It was used behind the plough (in this case a Ransomes Y. L.) to sow beans, but was made into a corn drill with adaptable barrels for corn (sand pits) or beans (elongated pits).
The drill beard a torn label with a figure of the plough with the drill in position. Also bears information and instruction for use.
