About this objectA self-binding reaper used by the donor and his two brothers from the early 1950s to 1963. This reaper was chiefly for harvesting grain, although on its last use it was used for harvesting kale seed. The brothers used it on their own farm at Cockfield although also did some contracting work for other farmers within a 20-mile radius. It is an Albion reaper, with rubber wheels; the cutter has 27 teeth, each stamped ALBION.
