About this objectA cutting tool with a blade perpendicular to its handle. Its versatility allowed it to be used in woodworking and agriculture. The shaft is rectangular, while the butt end has been flattened by hammering. Remains of a wooden handle are lodged in the shaft, through which a flat nail has been driven. This is one of three found by the donor in Stowmarket.
