Name/TitleButter Worker
About this objectThis was used to press the water out of the butter after washing and compress the granules into a creamy consistency.
It was used by the donor's mother from 1922 to 1938 in the dairy at Newberry Farm, Bildeston.
It has no stand so probably stood on a table. It has one block underneath to raise one end so that the tray slopes towards the bung end.
