About this objectThis was used by Mr. Mitton's father , H. Mitton, who was a veterinary surgeon during World War 1 and later at Long Melford.
Used with a tube for administering large doses of medicine. Within the barrel and attached to the handle is an aluminum rectal pipe but the 5 inch metal pipe which should be stored in the barrel (if it is a cattle syringe) is missing.
