About this objectThis was used within fairly recent years at High Green Farm. Made of oak with rim fittings, it was used for the attachment of two whipple trees for plough harness.

MeasurementsLength: 4 foot.
Width: 4 inches tapering to 3 inches at the end.
Thickness: 2 inches.
Ends bound for 3 1/4 inches, with hinged loops 4 inches, centre bound for 2 1/2 inches, bracket extending for 3 inches with hook 4 1/2 inches.
