About this objectThis was used at Spexhall and found when dredging a pond there. It is an unusual, small type, the blade with an almost straight edge, and a fuller about 3/8 inch inside the back of the blade, which is thickened. The handle, probably a 'T' is missing. There is a bracket for attachment of the handle, attached transversely to the shank which bends upwards towards it.

MeasurementsBlade: 1 foot 3 inches x 3 1/2 inches tapering to a point
Shank: 3 inches ( at right angles to the blade)
Bracket for handle: 3 3/4 inches with inturned spikes of 1 1/4 inches turned 3/4 inch
