About this objectThis horseshoe was ploughed up on Boundary Farm, Ilketshall St. Margaret. It is believed to be a shoe of the 17th or possibly 18th centuries, it is broader and thinner than a later shoe. Generally speaking the terminals are out back on the inner angle. Made of iron. Remains of 3 nails, one tip missing, one thickened. Vestige of fuller.
