About this objectUsed by the donor's father presumably at Dial Farm, Earl Stonham. It comprises a stock, a handgrip at right angles, whipped distally, a thong which projects beyond the end of the stock, a lash and a tail. There is also a 4 pointed stud in the crook of the handle.
