About this objectAn iron bean hook with an ash handle used for gathering beans together after they had been cut using a foot engine. The blade of the hook is tanged, not socketed. At 1 1/4 inches, it is bent at right angles for 1 inch and then straightened out again. From this point, it continues almost straight for 9 inches and then turns on a fairly sharp curve.
