About this objectThis crook was used by Frederick Fleet Rootham, agent for Sir Thomas Gooch, and he bred Suffolk sheep at Wrentham.
Mr Rootham also judged sheep (especially Suffolk and Southdown sheep) from early 1900 to 1939, using his crook at shows all over the country, including the Royal Show. He was agent for Sir Thomas Gooch, and bred Suffolk sheep at Wrentham.
