About this objectOne of a matching pair of gloves.This is part of the collection of clothes belonging to Misses D. and M. Burling, of Swaffham Bulbeck, Cambridgeshire, who were aunts of the donor, Mrs Chapman. The clothes were worn by the Hancock family at The Laurels Swaffham Bulbeck in 1850/ 1900, who were members of a farming family. These are a pair of plain black cotton gloves for a small hand and are well darned.
