About this objectOne of a pair of gloves. This is part of the collection of clothes belonging to Misses D. and M. Burling, of Swaffham Bulbeck, Cambridgeshire, who were aunts of the donor, Mrs. Chapman. The clothes were used by the Hancock family at The Laurels Swaffham Bulbeck in 1850/ 1900, who were members of a farming family. These are a pair of brown fleecy cotton gloves, elasticated at the cuff, with a motif in the top corner of each.
