About this objectA "1st Prize Special " Rosette awarded at the Framlingham Livestock Association.
It consists of an inner disc of white cardboard (with gold lettering) on top of a red disc on top of a green and white diss. All three discs are supported at the back by two smaller layers of fabric. The visible layer has the legend, "British Legion Poppy Factory Richmond Surrey" repeated many times.
There are two ribbons hanging down, one red and one white. There is a narrow plain ribbon attached to the backing disc to enable the rosette to be attached to the winner.
