About this objectSmall cream coloured Christmas card, with a picture of a lady by a mountain lake in a circle, set in a diamond shaped surrounding it. There is an inside page held together by a buff coloured "string", which is tied with a knot on the outside folded edge of the card.
The Christmas card has not been used.
It was found in the 1951 diary kept by Herbert Hart , A farmer, of Haughley Green, detailing his everyday farming life. They show how life and the farming year have changed over the period of 51 years.
These diaries were used by Colin Maurice Hart when writing the booklet entitled "Herbert Hart of Haughley Green, His Life and Times"
