About this objectA buff smock all in one piece, with a buttoned opening at the wrist. Round the neck and along the top of the shoulder is a chainstitch embroidery in black and white herringbone pattern. There are small patches of smocking at the wrists, the tops of the arms and just below the neck band, both back and front. There is a deep double pocket in the seam on either side.
