About this objectA business transaction receipt dated 13 Nov 1942, stuck on the second (half-size) sheet of an invoice signed over a 2d stamp for £34.8/- 8d. The cheque was paid to W. E. Wigg & Sons, Agricultural Dairy Engineers, & Founders of Barnby near Beccles by the executors of Jas Gower of Hill Farm, St Johns, Bungay. The two sheets are held together at the top the left hand corner by a metal paper clip.
